W e are pleased to present a collective celebration of the work that has been done by the Sun Life Financial Chair in Adolescent Mental Health over the past ten years.

Our plan has been to build on mental health awareness so that the complete puzzle that is youth mental health could begin to be solved. Our mission has been to give youth, parents, educators and healthcare providers the knowledge, understanding and tools to improve mental health care for youth.

We look forward to continuing our work towards bettering youth mental health across the globe.

  • When I made the move from the newsroom to the Nova Scotia Hospital I was thrilled to reconnect with Dr. Kutcher and TeenMentalHealth.Org. In my current role, I regularly visit this website and share its wealth of information with others. I know I can always access the most up-to-date, evidence-based practical knowledge on teen mental health and addictions there. Nova Scotians are incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Kutcher and his Sun Life Financial Chair team leading the charge, not just here in Canada, but beyond. The Foundation is a proud supporter of Dr. Kutcher and his team. We wholeheartedly thank them for ten years of helping us change the way people think!
