1) Before implementing the Curriculum Guide, it’s strongly recommended that teachers review the teacher training unit and complete the self test. 

2) Before teaching the modules the students should be given the student questionnaire which will be given again after the modules are taught as a sort of pre and post test evaluation.

The six modules are designed to stand alone, or to be taught in sequence so that students progress from the stigma of mental illness; to an understanding of the basic functions of the brain to details about different types of mental health problems and mental illnesses and their treatment; to  a real-life look at young people’s experiences of mental illness; to  the importance of services and ongoing support for those living with mental illness; to ways that everyone’s mental health can be enhanced and supported through positive coping strategies and stress-reduction.
