Focus on the Facts, Medications and Youth, and My Meds My Rights is a series of three fact sheets prepared in partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). These fact sheets provide parents and youth with a wealth of information about medications used to treat mental disorders and some mental health problems. These useful guidelines will help youth and parents learn how to ask their doctor questions that can lead them to more information as well as what to expect from treatments, what are the patients rights, some practical tips and helpful resources.
